About Jamesville / DeWitt

Located to the east of Syracuse, DeWitt is a town with a population of around 25,000 people. It is well-known for its charming properties and ample opportunities for outdoor recreation. The community is surrounded by natural areas, including the Ryder Recreation Area, which features bike trails, canoe access on Butternut Creek, a pond for fishing, and a playground. DeWitt also has easy on/off access to the local highways, which makes it an ideal place to live no matter where you work.

Jamesville, which is made out of portions of DeWitt, LaFayette, and other small towns, is home to Jamesville Beach Park, known as a summer destination for area residents.
